GownCard Alpha Evaluation Agreement
Thanks for helping us test GownCard.
This is an early, experimental version of the product that we’re sharing with a small group of invited testers. By using it, you agree to the following:
1. This is an alpha.
GownCard is unfinished. It may have bugs, make mistakes, lose or change information, or work differently tomorrow. We’re giving you free access so you can test it and tell us what you think. We can change or end the alpha or your access to it at any time.
2. You’re responsible for how you use it.
You are responsible for what you put into GownCard and for reviewing anything GownCard creates, organizes, or changes before you use or share it.
GownCard is a tool for organizing and sharing procedural knowledge, not a source of medical advice or clinical orders. If you use information from GownCard in your clinical work, use your own professional judgment and verify it against the appropriate authoritative sources.
3. AI makes mistakes.
Some features use AI. AI can misunderstand, omit, misclassify, or invent information. Review its work before you rely on or share it.
4. Don’t put patient information in GownCard.
During the alpha, do not enter or upload PHI or other information that identifies a patient.
5. Your content is your responsibility; GownCard is ours.
Only contribute content you have the right to use and share.
You keep whatever rights you already have in content you contribute. By putting content into GownCard, you give us permission to use, analyze, modify, aggregate, and learn from it to operate, develop, improve, and commercialize GownCard and related products, including improving and training our AI.
GownCard owns the app, its technology, and the usage, analytical, aggregated, and derived data and insights generated through use of the app. Testing GownCard, providing feedback, or suggesting features does not give you any ownership or other rights in GownCard. We may use your feedback and suggestions without restriction or compensation.
6. You can share Approved cards.
If GownCard allows you to share a locked, read-only card with members of your team, that card must first be Approved by a surgeon (ready for use). Review it before you share. Make sure it is accurate, contains no patient-identifiable information, and is appropriate to share. Unapproved cards stay private drafts and are not shareable or printable.
People who receive a shared card are viewing information you chose to share. They are not GownCard alpha users and do not gain access to the rest of the app.
7. You’re testing an experimental product.
GownCard is provided as is, without promises that it will be accurate, complete, available, or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, GownCard is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from your use of the alpha product.
Please keep non-public information about GownCard and the alpha confidential.
